BRIT BLACKLIDGE
PRESIDENT AND CEO

In between roles as President & CEO of Blacklidge, Associate Board Member to asphalt associations NAPA, AAPA, and RAF, member of the Young Presidents Association (YPA), Deacon at First Baptist Church of Gulfport, husband and father to two wonderful girls, and saltwater fisherman, Brit Blacklidge found time to reflect on his personal history with the asphalt and emulsion industry and where he sees it going.

DR. JOHN “JFK” MOORE
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

As Chief Operating Officer, Dr. John “JFK” Moore is responsible for establishing and implementing policies that will promote efficiency, quality, safety and drive innovation and growth for Blacklidge. A former U.S. Army officer and master space officer for the U.S. government, JFK brings an extraordinary amount of leadership and organizational experience to help lead Blacklidge into the future.

MATT RENICK
CHIEF INNOVATION OFFICER

As Chief Innovation Officer, Matt Renick ensures that innovation at Blacklidge doesn’t stop at R&D. Whether that means safety and compliance or client care, Matt works to ensure innovation runs through the fabric of the company so that we are “always the better road.” A native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Matt brings deep industry experience and a passion for excellence to Blacklidge.

BRITT WARD
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT SALES

As Senior Vice President of Sales, Britt Ward is responsible for all sales activities at Blacklidge. He ensures customer expectations are not only met, but also exceeded. Britt has served in a variety of sales and sales management roles at Blacklidge over the last four years and has repeatedly demonstrated that he is a champion for our customers.

DR. TODD MARION
SENIOR VP OF FINANCE

As Blacklidge’s Vice President of Finance, Todd is responsible for leading the financial strategy of the company to drive efficiency, accountability and growth. Holding a doctorate in strategic leadership, Todd brings a focused and collaborative approach to planning for the future.

PAUL JOHNSON
VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS SERVICES

A Nashville native, Paul Johnson brings over 20 years of logistics experience to Blacklidge. Since age 18, he has been overseeing the movement of big equipment, including four years in the U.S. Navy as the Navigation Supervisor onboard the USS Essex LHD-2 during her maiden voyage from San Diego to the South Pacific. In between dispatching loads, communicating with drivers, customers, and support staff, and making sure everything shows up on time, Paul took a moment to deconstruct the puzzle behind his job description.

KIMBERLY LEWIS
VICE PRESIDENT OF ACCOUNTING

A Gulfport native with 20 years of financial accounting experience, and 8 of those years at Blacklidge, Kimberly Lewis has deep knowledge of Blacklidge’s operations. She took a moment in between managing her team, juggling different states’ tax regulations, and strategizing best practices for growing into new markets to tell us more about her day-to-day.

LATASHA D. MCCULLAR
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

As Vice President of Operations, Tasha is responsible for leading the Operations team to satisfy customer requirements and meet organizational goals. A retired U.S. Army officer, Tasha brings immeasurable experience managing teams and organizations. Tasha is a native of Mississippi and excited to be back in her home state.

DAVID VAUGHT
VICE PRESIDENT OF CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT

David Vaught handles all of the operations in the state of Florida – which is no small task when Blacklidge is responsible for 90% of the state’s paved roads. He manages three facilities, two in Tampa and one in Fort Lauderdale. On any given day, David is in his truck driving between facilities. He took some time to reflect on the growth of Blacklidge.
