August 31, 2016 - Blacklidge Emulsions Expands Capacity in Texas with New Distribution Plant
Blacklidge Emulsions, a leading asphalt products company, announced today the opening of its first distribution plant in the state of Texas. The plant is located in the city of Terrell, which is approximately 60 miles east of the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.
The Terrell plant will primarily distribute UltraTack™—Blacklidge’s specially formulated asphalt emulsion that yields a fast setting, non-tracking tack coat. UltraFuseⓇ—Blacklidge’s thick bond coating—is expected to be available at the Terrell plant in the near future. All products that come out of the Terrell plant are fully tested and certified by the Texas D.O.T.
The facility’s capabilities include:
● A 70 ft., full-size truck scale
● Agitated and heated 18,000 gallon tank
● Convenient overhead, on scale loading
