WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE JOINING BLACKLIDGE?
I spent the last 13 years working as Vice President of Operations and CFO for French Camp Academy in Mississippi, an interdenominational Christian boarding school and home serving children from difficult home situations. Prior to that, I was an accountant for Elliot Davis and Jackson Hewitt.

WHAT DO YOU SEE AS YOUR ROLE TO HELP BLACKLIDGE GROW?
I enjoy all things business, but beyond that, I value the strategy behind the numbers. I look forward to helping each of the business units plan for the future by thinking strategically. How do we plan for that? How do we finance that? What does that look like from a business and cash flow perspective as we plan strategically for the future? I am excited to work with each of our units to look ahead and continue to think strategically and financially.

HOW HAS YOUR EXPERIENCE HELPED PREPARE YOU FOR YOUR CURRENT ROLE?
My past roles have been strategic in planning for the future. These experiences will help me guide Blacklidge to the next level. By looking at the resources we have, setting goals and creating a strategic plan to reach those goals, I believe we can get to where we want to be.

WHAT CAN YOU BE FOUND ENGAGING IN OUTSIDE OF WORK?
Outside of work, I continue to journey with many of the young men I have had the honor of working with over the years from French Camp Academy. I also enjoy traveling and anything outdoors like canoeing, kayaking and cycling. You also might find me reading, playing piano or doing some woodworking. I like to stay busy.
