December 31, 2020 - Blacklidge Employees Featured in January/February 2021 Issue of Asphalt Pavement Magazine


Gulfport, MS – Two Blacklidge employees are featured in the January/February 2021 issue of Asphalt Pavement magazine. Published by the National Asphalt Pavement Association, the publication provides the industry with the latest news on asphalt pavement technology and innovations, workforce development, best paving and business practices, member involvement in their communities and association initiatives. This issue focuses on workforce development through the lens of diversity and inclusion.

Dominique Kelsie, Quality Control Lab Tech based in Tampa, FL, is featured on the cover, reflecting Blacklidge’s guiding principles of excellence and individual empowerment. Dominique has worked for Blacklidge since 2015 and has consistently proven herself to be an urgent learner and humble leader.

Amanda Hufft, Materials Engineer based in Gulfport, MS, is featured as one of the spotlights in NAPA Research and Education Foundation Scholars’ “Where are they now?”. She reflects on her role at Blacklidge and her experience as a young woman in the asphalt industry. Amanda joined Blacklidge in 2020 and has already proven herself to be a key member of our innovation team.
